Drive shafts are long, cylindrical shafts that help transmit torque from the engine to the wheel. Typically found in rear wheel and four wheel drive vehicles, they connect components of the drivetrain that are separated by distance such as the transmission and rear differential. This course shows you how u-joints and center support bearings function in getting power to the wheels.
