AVI & TGTA Deliver New Hybrid EV to WCCC for Automotive Tech Program

A new Toyota Prius was delivered to WCCC today which will allow their Automotive Technology Program to provide instruction on maintenance and repair of hybrid and electric vehicles! AVI and The Group Academy Training came to their campus in June with our award winning vehicle and provided training on hybrid and electric vehicles. This new equipment allows Washington County Community College to offer this instruction in the future on a regular basis and was purchased with funds through the Maine Jobs and Recovery Plan and the Harold Alfond Center for the Advancement of Maine’s Workforce. Learn more about WCCC's Automotive Technology Program HERE.
