This course will cover hybrid and electric vehicle maintenance and service opportunities in the first 4-hour block of the class – send your service advisors for the first session so they can learn about all of the service opportunities within the Hybrid and Electric Vehicle market. Service advisors and technicians alike will benefit from this maintenance session. The instructor will cover safety and personal protective equipment as well as specialty tools required to safely and accurately diagnose hybrid and EV systems. Course will include the individual technician hands-on testing with the AVI cut-away Toyota Prius. Technicians will be able to test motors, inverters and batteries. This will allow attendees to perform the techniques discussed in the lecture portion.

The Duramax is a great engine. However, diagnostics and service can be a little tough sometimes. Mandated emission control systems have to be considered on all repairs. This course will cover the many issues with the emission packages on various year engines. Multiple Duramax engines will be discussed. We will bias to the Duramax in the CV platform in all areas of study.
