Description
AVI’s Director of Training, Tom Rayk, has a new class on an important subject we tend to overlook even though we use them all the time in our shops. The Lift! Tom shows us the different types of lifts, how to safely lift a vehicle while taking into account vital information like proper lift points and locating the critical center of gravity. And especially important, what to do, and what additional equipment will be needed, when performing a service that will actually change the center of gravity, like removing the rear axle assembly, safely.
This short program belongs in your shop’s training library. It’s an important safety issue and everyone in your shop can be an expert in safely lifting all types of vehicles. Tom’s aggressive, yet relaxed teaching style makes for a fun watch, too.
